Wilfred Leon Lussier, a resident of Dedham for the past 15 years, and formerly a resident of Dorchester, died Saturday, October 15, 2011 at his home in Dedham.  He was 78.  Wilfred was born March 22, 1933 in Boston, Massachusetts, a son of James Charles and Maryellen (Piper) Lussier.  He worked as a metalurgist for Lindberg Heat Treating Company in South Boston for 25 years until his retirement in 1982.  Wilfred was a movie buff and a family man.  He enjoyed family outings, cookouts, trips to the beach and spending time with his kids.  Wilfred was the husband of the late Ethel Edna (Graham) Lussier who predeceased him in 2000; and the father of Donna M. Maloney of Bridgewater, Shirley A. Penison of Brockton, William L. Lussier of Brockton, Barbara J. Kolczewski of Dedham, and the late Charles R. Lussier, who died in January of this year.  He is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.  Wilfred was the last survivor of his siblings.  He was the brother of the late James Charles Lussier, Joseph Lussier, George Lussier, Rose Rusk, Mary Glover, Christine Kraft, Helen Muse, and Betty Phillips.  Visiting hours will be held Monday, October 17th from 4 to 8 PM at the Folsom Funeral Home, 87 Milton Street, Dedham.  Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral Tuesday at 10 AM at the Funeral Home.  Interment will be private.  Donations to the American Heart Association, 20 Speen Street, Framingham, Massachusetts, 10701 or to the Old Colony Hospice, 1 Credit Union Way, Randolph, Massachusetts, 02368 would be appreciated.
