Virginia H. Daniels

Virginia Hazel (Horner) Daniels, a resident of Roslindale for 45 years, died Wednesday, February 4, 2015 at the Spaulding Nursing Home in West Roxbury.  She was 93.  Virginia was born July 17, 1921 in Boston, Massachusetts, the only child of James W. and Finnettie (Lent) Horner.  After high aschool she attended secretarial school and then worked as a secretary at Millard Company attorneys and also as a housekeeper at the Sherrill House in Jamaica Plain.  She was a member of the Roslindale Baptist Church.  Virginia was the wife of the late Edward Goldsmith Daniels who predeceased her in 1984.  She is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth Giampietro, and her husband Thomas, of Walpole; and her three grandchildren, Terryn Marie Lance, and her husband Chris, of Ohio, Cori Ann Clinton, and her husband Dan, of Norton, and Christopher T. Giampietro, and his girlfriend Lauren Agresta, of New York.  Visitation with her family will be held from 10 to 11 AM on Friday, February 6, 2015 at the Folsom Funeral Home, 63 Belgrade Avenue, Roslindale followed by a graveside service at Forest Hills Cemetery in Boston.  In lieu of flowers donations to the Animal Rescue League, 55  Anna’s Place, Dedham, MA 02026 would be apreciated.
