Virginia E. Dickie

Virginia Eileen Dickie, a longtime resident of Roslindale, died Wednesday, June 23, 2021 at the Linden Assisted Living Center in Dedham.  She was 78.  Ginnie was born April 30, 1943 in Boston, Massachusetts, the daughter of Joseph Edwin and Marjorie Alberta (Martin) Dickie.  She worked for forty years as a secretary for the John Hancock Insurance Company and she was a lifelong member of the Stretford Street United Church where she served as the Children’s Education Leader for 20 years.  Ginnie is survived by her brother, Edwin J. Dickie of Roslindale.  Relatives and friends are invited to attend her graveside service Friday, June 25th at 10 am at the Garden of Gethsemane Cemetery on Baker Street in West Roxbury  In lieu of flowers donations to the Stratford Street United Church Steeples Fund, 77 Stratford Street, West Roxbury, MA 02132 would be appreciated.
