V. Joan Weeks

Vera Joan (Risoldi) Weeks, a resident of Dedham, died Saturday, January 3, 2015 at the Faulkner Hospital in Boston.  She was 84.  Joan was born December 17, 1930 in Boston, Massachusetts, a daughter of Nunzio “John” and Vera (Black) Risoldi.  She was a member of the Dedham Art Association and a avid painter.  Joan was the wife of the late Lloyd Estey Weeks and the sister of the late Joyce Lydon.  She is survived by her son, Alan L. Weeks, and his wife Kathleen, of Easton; her daughter, Valerie J. Sullivan, and her husband Francis, of Concord; seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.  Visiting hours will be held Thursday, January 8th from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM at the Folsom Funeral Home, 87 Milton Street, Dedham.  Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral Friday at 11 AM at the funeral home.  After cremation private interment will be in Brookdale Cemetery in Dedham.
