Sylvia Frances (Eno) Kougias, a resident of Plymouth, and formerly a longtime resident of Dedham, died Tuesday, May 26, 2015 at the Lifecare of Plymouth Nursing Home in Plymouth, MA.  She was 79.  Sylvia was born March 24, 1936 in Boston, Massachusetts, one of the six children of Henry and Angie (Covey) Eno.  Sylvia worked for a brief time in the warehouse at Carter’s in Needham, a children’s clothing manufacturer, but most of her time was spent raising her seven children, and later being a devoted and doting grandmother.  She did indulge her artistic talents and she enjoyed painting in watercolors, oils and acrylics.  Sylvia was the wife of the late Ernest Paul Kougias, the mother of the late Chris Kougias, and the sister of the late Leon Eno, and the late Ellen Evju.  She is survived by her three daughters, Patricia A. Haskell, and her husband Peter, of Dedham, Karen Thibodeau, and her husband Bill, of Harrisville, Rhode Island, and Pamela St. Clair, and her husband Kenneth, of Plymouth; her three sons, Frank Lovell, and his wife Rebecca, of Port Orange, Florida, Richard Lovell of  Hyde Park, and Paul Kougias of Norwood; her brother, Henry Eno of Walpole; her two sisters, Cathy Harrington of Walpole, and Beverly Maher of Medway; her eleven grandchildren, AndyHaskell, Chris Haskell, Frank Lovell III, Amanda Lechelar, Alayna Lovell, Jean Thibodeau, Amie Thibodeau, Anna Thibodeau, Robert Allen, Shauna Allen, and Tiara St. Clair; and her three great grandchildren,Tylah and Andrew Haskell, and Wyatt Lechelar.  Visiting hours will be held Thursday, May 28th from 4 to 8 PM at the Folsom Funeral Home, 649 High Street (Route 109), Westwood.  Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral Friday at 10 AM at the Stratford Street United Church, 77 Stratford Street, West Roxbury.  Interment will be private.  Donations in Sylvia’s memory to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701 would be appreciated.
