Susan E. Mooncai

Zsuzsi Eva (Lorant) Mooncai, known by most as Susan, died Friday, January 17, 2014 at the Clark House in Desdham after a brief illness.  She was 83.  Zsuzsi was born January 28, 1930 in Budapest, Hungary, the daughter of Gyula and Lilly (Deutch) Lorant.  She attended Wellesley Collegeand worked for three years as a mechanical engineer for Jackson & Moreland in Boston.  Susan was very dedicated to the Museum of Science in Boston where she volunteered for many years and where she also served on the Board of Trustees.  She is survived by her husband, Henry Wong Mooncai.  Visiting hours will be held Monday, January 20th from 10 am to noon at the Folsom Funeral Home, 649 High Street, Westwood followed by a funeral service at noon in the funeral home.  The Reverend Christopher Dodge of the First Parish Church of Westwood will officiate.  Private interment will be in the Chapel of the Psalmist at Foreast Hills Crematory.  In lieu of flowers donations to the American Lung Association, 460 Totten Pond Road, Waltham, MA 02451 would be appreciated.
