Ronald Louis Olmstead

February 4, 1952 – September 22, 2011

Ronald L Olmstead, of Dover and formerly of Westwood,  at home with the Lord,
September 22,2011. He was born and  grew up in Geneva, New York.  Ron was the son of the late Frederick L. and Louise T. ( Varno)  Olmstead. Ron graduated from Hobart and William Smith College and went on to receive his MBA from Cornell University. He was also an extremely successful entrepenuer who founded Olmstead Associates, Inc.  in 1994, which is a leading consultant to the world’s top securities firms. Ron was also a  poet, a musician and an amazing father.

Beloved husband of Debra A. (Null)  Olmstead; devoted father of Regan, Avery, and Trinity; dear brother of Patricia Wilson, Frederick, Eugene and the late Richard Olmstead; son-in-law of Lynda and the late John Null;  dear brother-in-law, uncle, great-uncle, cousin, friend and colleague to many. He will be greatly missed.

A Memorial Service and visitation for Ron will be held on Wednesday, September 28, 2011, at Saint Luke’s Lutheran Church. 950 East Street, Dedham. MA 02026. Visitation starting at 9:30, memorial service at 11, then lunch served and visit after service. (All at the church).

Another Memorial Service  will be held in Geneva, NY on Monday Oct. 3, 2011, followed by burial at Glenwood Cemetery.  Complete details not arranged at this time.
