Robert Wilson Glover, a longtime resident of Dedham, died Wednesday, January 22, 2020 at the Norwood Hospital in Norwood. He was 65. Robert was born November 11, 1954 in Needham, Massachusetts, one of the five children of Charles Herbert and Margaret Camilla (Conway) Glover. He worked for the TSA at Logan Airport. Bob enjoyed fishing, including ice fishing, and was an avid reader. He used to bowl in a league in Kingston. Bob was the beloved father of Christopher B. Glover of New Bedford, Gerard E. Glover of Hull, Robert C. Glover of Dublin, Ohio, and Melissa J. Glover of Acushnet, and the dear brother of James H. Glover of Abington, Marion A. Ducharme of Attleboro, Evelyn M. Wigmore of Dedham, and Mary F. Berlinguet of Duxbury. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, his close friend Michael McDonald of Dedham, and his former wife Nancy E. (Olson) Glover. Visiting hours will be held Sunday, February 2, 2020 from 1 pm to 2:30 pm at the Folsom Funeral Home, 87 Milton Street, Dedham followed by a Memorial Service at the funeral home at 2:30. Private interment will be in Brookdale Cemetery in Dedham. In lieu of flowers donations to the American Cancer Society, 3 Speen Street, Suite 205, Framingham, MA 01701 would be appreciated.
