Robert Carroll Sullivan, a resident of Franklin for the past three years, and formerly a long time resident of Dedham, died Saturday, February 28, 2015 on his 77th birthday. Bob was born in Boston, Massachusetts, the only son of Daniel and Frances Mildred (Dobbrow) Sullivan. He worked for 28 years as a Certified Professional Tennis Instructor at the Dedham Health and Athletic Club. In addition to tennis Bob also enjoyed fishing and kayaking. Robert is survived by his wife, Patricia Ann (Colello) Sullivan; his two daughters, Staci O’Gryzek, and her husband Richard, of Norfolk, and Stephanie Elias, and her husband Joseph of Wrentham; his sister, Arlene Prouty of Bellingham; and his five grandchildren, Deven and Madison O’Gryzek, and Jessica, Alex and Johnny Elias. Visiting hours will be held Tuesday, March 3rd from 4 to 8 PM at the Folsom Funeral Home, 87 Milton Street, Dedham. Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the funeral home Wednesday at 9 AM and proceed to Hope Baptist Church, 1961 River Street, Hyde Park for his funeral service at 10 o clock. Interment will follow in Woodside Cemetery in Cohassett. In lieu of flowers donations to the Alzheimer’s Association, 480 Pleasant Street, Watertown, MA 02472 would be appreciated.
