Robert C. Foley, a resident of Dedham, formerly of Jamaica Plain died on May 5, 2011 at the age of 78.  Born in Boston to the late Daniel J., Sr. and Dorothy M. (Meroth) Foley.  A graduate of Hyde Park High, Class of 1951.  Mr. Foley is a WWII veteran, he served in the United States Army during the Korean War.  He was a member of the Benevolent and Protective Order of the Elks, #10, West Roxbury and the American Legion #76 in Jamaica Plain.  He was a great fan of football, liked to visit Vegas, a lover of irish music and a big animal rights supporter.   He is survived by his wife, Helen E. (Graves) Foley and his two daughters, Patricia Foley of Dedham and Kathleen McDermott of Holyoke.  He was predeceased by his brothers,  Eugene F., Daniel J., Jr. and Thomas J. Foley.  Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral on Tuesday, May 10 at 8AM from the Folsom Funeral Home, 87 Milton St., Dedham, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9AM at St. Anne’s Church, 82 W.Milton St., Readville.  Interment in Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton.  Visiting hours are on Monday, May 9 from 4 to 8PM.  In lieu of flowers donations in his memory may be sent to the M.S.P.C.A., 350 South Huntington Ave., Jamaica Plain, MA 02130.
