Rita E. Mancinelli

Rita Elizabeth Mancinelli, a resident of Westwood for over 40 years, died Wednesday, April 21, 2010 at the Norwood Hospital.  She was 80.  Rita was born July 12, 1929 in Boston, Massachusetts, a daughter of William and Cora (Daley) Doherty.  She was the mother of Caryl Cochrane of Westwood, Lisa Mancinelli of Westwood, Mark A. Mancinelli, and his wife Donna, of Peabody, Maria Mancinelli of Westwood and the late Bruce R. Mancinelli.  She is also survived by her two brothers, Jack Hogan of Connecticut, and Paul Hogan of North Carolina; her two sisters, Mary Palombi of Roslindale, and Anne Abdou of Mississippi; and her four grandchildren, Marisa Cochrane, Shauna Mancinelli, Samantha Mancinelli, and Sienna Mancinelli.  Visiting hours will be held Sunday 2-4 PM at the Folsom Funeral Home, 649 High Street, Westwood.  Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the funeral home Monday at 10:30 AM and proceed to St. Margaret Mary Church, 845 High Street, Westwood for her Mass of Christian Burial at 11: 30 AM.  Interment wil be private.   In lieu of flowers donations to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701 would be appreciated.
