Richard F. Conroy

Richard Francis Conroy, a 23 year resident of Norwood, died suddenly on Friday November 27, 2009 at the Caritas Norwood Hospital. He was 70. He was born in Boston and was the son of the late John L and Marjorie A. (Richard) Conroy. Richard lived in Jamaica Plain for 22 years. He worked with the Environmental Services Department for Boston’s Childrens Hospital. He began his career there at the age of 17, retiring in 2004, with over 43 years of service to the hospital. Richard loved trains, visiting Boston and studying its history through pictures. He is survived by his sister Louise M. Annis of Norwood, his nephew Robert McAllister of Stoughton, his nieces Holly and Heather Annis both of Norwood. He is also survived by many Great nieces and nephews.
