Rena O. Wood

Rena O. Wood, a resident of North Weymouth since 1955, died Saturday, December 25, 2010 at the South Shore Hospital. She was 88. Rena was the daughter of the late William H. and Olga E. (Bletzer) Freeman. Mrs. Wood graduated from Roslindale High School.  She was a talented seamstress, working for many years at Talbots Clothing and Burton Uniforms. In her later years she worked and volunteered at the Weymouth Library. She is survived by her sons; Stephen P. Wood, Karl F. Wood and Ellis C. Wood all of Weymouth, and her sister Olga Doolittle of Scituate. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a graveside service,  Tuesday, January  4,  2011 at  11am at Forest Hills Cemetery, 95 Forest Hills Avenue, Jamaica Plain, MA.
