Paula E. Balliro

Paula Elizabeth (Canisius) Balliro, of Norwood, died Saturday, December 2, 2023 at the Charlwell Nursing Home in Norwood, Massachusetts. She was 86. Paula was born September 27, 1937 in Boston, Massachusetts, the daughter of Joseph and Anna Josephine (Widmer) Canisius. She was the wife of the late Salvatore Anthony Balliro, the mother of the late Rudolph Joseph Balliro, and the sister of the late Joan Vendetti. Paula is survived by her son Christopher Johan Balliro of Norwood; her two brothers, Joseph and Peter Canisius; and her three sisters, Anne Cleaves, Barbara Lane, and Kathy Nye. Visiting hours will be held Monday, December 11, 2023 from 2 to 4 pm at the Folsom & May Funeral Home, 85 Nichols Street, Norwood. Interment will be private.
