St. Paul, Claudette (Bernier) – of Hyde Park, unexpectedly passed away at her home on Thursday, May 23, 2019 at the age of 62. She was the devoted wife of Michel B. St. Paul for almost 40 years, and the loving mother of Monique St. Paul, and the late Rachelle St. Paul. Dear sister of Edwige Madden, Nadine Zephyr, Michele Baysden, and Nancy Bernier. Loving daughter of the late Ulerick and Ursula Bernier.
Claudette was born August 15, 1956. Her father suggested she go on a cruise in 2004 and as a result she set sail an average of three times a year ever since. An avid traveler, she visited Alaska, Europe, Hawaii, Panama Canal, Greece, and most of the Caribbean. Her last cruise to Cuba was last month. Claudette read romance novels abundantly, occasionally reading mysteries and general fiction for some variety. Books allowed her to further travel the world without ever leaving her home. Claudette also enjoyed testing her luck with the slots at the casino. Ever the pragmatist, she played the penny slots for high fun at a low risk.
Claudette deeply loved her family and dedicated her life to ensuring their safety and happiness.
Visitation for Claudette will be held on Wednesday, May 29, 2019 from 6-8PM at the Folsom Funeral Home, 87 Milton St, Dedham, MA 02026. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donate to your local library in her name to share her love of reading.
