Olive E. (Lundborg) Johnson, a resident of New Pond Village, and formerly a longtime resident of Dedham, died Monday, April 18, 2016 at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Needham. She was 92. Olive was born September 25, 1923 in Boston, Massachusetts, one of the three daughters of Ruben Daniel and Sarah Ann (McKane) Lundborg. She had a varied career path, starting as a seamstress, working for herself, graduating to working at Rustcraft greeting Card Company in Dedham and also at the Dedham Mall, and culminating, first as a cook at Dedham High School and then at the MIT Endicott House in Dedham, and in providing private catering of dinners and parties. Olive was a former choir member at the Allin Congregational Church, a member of the Dedham Council on Aging, and a member of the Dedham Art Association. She was the wife of the late Anders A.H. Johnson who predeceased her in 2004, and the sister of the late Myrtle Ekberg, and the late Gladys Bergren. She is survived by her daughter, Vivian Cipriano of Jensen Beach, Florida; her two grandchildren, Kristin Washington, and her husband Cory, and Justin Cipriano; and her great grandson, Kailar Washington. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Graveside Service Friday, April 22nd at 1:30 PM at Knollwood Memorial Park, 321 High Street, Canton. In lieu of flowers donations to Allin Congregational Church, 683 High Street, Dedham, MA 02026 would be appreciated.
