None Richard Boudrot

Richard C. Boudrot, a resident of Dedham , died on Sept.2 surrounded by his family.  He was 78.  Mr. Boudrot was born in Newton and was the son of the late Edward S. and Frances M. (Wassung).  A veteran of the Korean War, he served in the United States Air Force.  He then went on to become an elementary teacher.  He taught for over 30 years in Dedham at the Riverdale School and Dedham Middle School .  He was a member of the American Legion, Post 18 and the VFW ,Post 2017. He often liked to reminisce about the Air Force and his time spent as a radio operator in Korea .  He fondly spoke of being a member of the Bully Beef Squadron.

He enjoyed growing his tomatoes, traveling, spending time at his cottage in Wareham and canoeing.  He loved his pets, particularly his dogs, “Terry” and “Topaz”.  His greatest joy were his “3 girls”: His beloved wife Lorraine M. (Aker), Susan of Duxbury and Pamela of Los Angeles, CA.   He was predeceased by his 2 brothers,  Edward and Thomas Boudrot. A  Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 9AM at St. Susanna’s Parish, 262 Needham St ., Dedham.  The burial will be private.  Visiting hours will be at St. Susanna’s Parish on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9PM . In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the MSPCA, 350 So. Huntington Ave. , Boston , MA 02130 or to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, P.O. Box 50 , Memphis , TN 38101-9929 .
