Johnson, Rena Marguerite (née Fraser) entered eternal life on January 11, 2016. Her loving spirit is carried on by her two children, five grandchildren, two daughters-in-law; and an extended family of relations and friends from all walks of life. Rena is now reunited with her predeceased and dearly devoted husband, Larry and her three siblings. We were blessed to have learned many valuable lessons from Rena during her wonderful 92 years of life, among them, be positive or be quiet. Rena always had a pleasing smile and was blessed to have perpetually youthful, beautiful skin. Rena most recently was a resident of Middletown, CT, had previously lived in Westwood, MA; and for over fifty years was a resident of Wellesley Hills, MA. Rena was born in Amherst, Nova Scotia, Canada and immigrated to the United States upon graduating with highest honors from Gordon College, then located in Boston, MA, with a double major in philosophy and religion. Rena was a member of Park St. Church in Boston, MA for sixty-five years. A private, graveside burial service will be held in Wellesley, MA and memorial services will be scheduled later at Park St. Church in Boston, MA and at Fox Hill Village, in Westwood, MA. “…I have finished my course, I have kept the faith” – 2 Timothy 4:7. Donations in Rena’s memory may be sent to Park St. Church, One Park St., Boston, MA 02108, please designate to missions fund.
