None Peter Doukas

Peter P. Doukas, a resident of West Roxbury for 63 years passed away Sunday, March 4, 2018. He had recently celebrated his 93 ^rd birthday on January 25 ^th . Born in 1925 in Boston, Massachusetts, he was the son of Charles and Angelina (Bichekas) Doukas, immigrants from Greece. He proudly served in the Navy during WWII. He dedicated much of his career working for Polaroid Corporation. A devoted family man, he enjoyed relaxing times with his relatives while on Cape Cod.

Peter was the beloved husband of Helen (Georgaklis) Doukas. Dear father of Maryann Zitoli and her husband Paul of Westwood and Charles Doukas and loving companion Kathleen Walsh of Dedham. Devoted grandfather to Peter Zitoli and his wife Katie and Lauren Zitoli and her loving companion Oren Wolpe. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Dear brother of the late Ida and Ted Doukas.

Visitation will be held Tuesday from 10-11AM at St. Nectarios Church, 39 Belgrade Ave., Roslindale, followed by his Funeral Service at 11AM. Interment in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Boston. In lieu of flowers donations to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute, PO Box 849168, Boston, MA 02284; or to St. Nectarios Church at the address listed above would be appreciated.
