A testament to his strong ties to family, Paul and his wife Cindy were happily married for just shy of 40 years. He was dedicated to providing for his family and worked for more than 30 years as an adjuster for commercial re-insurance claims.  Paul was a die-hard sports fan, he was well known for not only watching, but knowing stats from a plethora of sports around the globe. Paul never missed a game in which any of his children participated whether it was on the baseball field, basketball court, or on the track.  He enjoyed spending quality time with each of his children and grandchildren.  Over the years he could be found with any of them playing catch in the backyard, shooting hoops, or running through town.  Paul particularly loved spending summer vacations in Acadia National Park with his family camping and teaching his children the joys of family and spending quality time together.  He enjoyed a good book, particularly if it involved a grandchild on his lap.

Paul was a kind-hearted man that would do anything for anyone. His big heart and soft-spoken demeanor were not his only genuine qualities. Paul had quite the sense of humor and loved playing pranks on his children and grandchildren.  He was known for his quick wit and his huge smile that was often accompanied by a special twinkle in his eye.
