None Mary Georgenes

Mary (Ballos) Georgenes,  died Saturday, September 2, 2017 at her home in Walpole.  She was 78.  Mary was born April 7, 1939 in Lowell, Massachusetts, the daughter of Greek immigrants Charles and Anna Ballos.  For the last fourteen years she worked as an administrator at Dental Associates of Walpole.  Mary was a volunteer at Children’s Hospital in Boston for over 30 years, and was a member of the Ladies Philoptochos Society at the Annunciation Church in Boston. She was the wife of the late Nicholas G. Georgenes who predeceased her in 2015, and is survived by her two sons, George A. Georgenes, and his wife Maria, of Foxboro, and Christopher J. Georgenes, and his wife Rebecca, of Wellesley; her daughter, Ann Bakas of Westwood; her sister, Sue Milinazzo of Dracut; and her grandchildren, Zoe, Robert, William, and Andrea Georgenes, and Theodore, Nicholas and Alexandra Bakas.  Visiting hours will be held Wednesday from 4 to 8 pm at the Folsom Funeral Home, 649 High Street, Westwood.  Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral Thursday at 10 am at St. Demetrios Church, 57 Brown St, Weston followed by burial at Forest Hills Cemetery in Boston.  In lieu of flowers a donation to Children’s Hospital Trust, 401 Park Drive, Suite 602, Boston, MA 02215 or to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, PO Box 849168, Boston, MA 02284 would be appreciated.
