None Kathryn Arnold

Kathryn Alice (Brasil) Arnold, a resident of Fox Hill Village in Westwood forthe past 13 years, and formerly of Great Falls, SC, Oak Ridge, TN, Rochester, NY, Hilton Head Island, SC, and Medfield, MA, died peacefully at her home in Westwood on Sunday, May 10, 2009.  She was 86.  Kathryn was born Nov 4, 1922 in Greenville, South Carolina, a daughter of the late Roy Eugene, and Lillian F. (Ray) Brasil.  She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from Withrop Colle in Rock Hill, South Carolina.  She was the wife of the late William Arnold.  Kathryn is survived by her three children, William Arnold Jr., and his wife Patricia, of Pratt, West Virginia, Kenneth Arnold, and his wife Margaret, of Wrentham, MA, and Barbara J. Petherick, and her husband Kevin, of Knoxville, TN; her sister Peggy Peach, and her husband Daniel, of Great Falls, SC; eight grandchildren, and six great grandchildren.  A Memorial Service will be held Friday, May 22, 2009 at 11 AM at the First Parish of Westwood United Church, 340 Clapboardtree Street, Westwood, MA followed by a reception at Fox Hill Village, 10 Longwood Drive, Westwood, MA.  In lieu of flowers donations to the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation ( www.JDRF.org ) would be appreciated.
