Gerald “Gerry” Anderson, a resident of North Salem, New Hampshire, and formerly of Norwood and Roslindale, passed away peacefully October 12, 2022 in Walpole, Massachusetts. He was 80. Gerry was born April 10, 1942 in Boston, Massachusetts the son of Herbert and Anna (Bailis) Anderson. He grew up in Roslindale and graduated from Boston English High School before enlisting in the US Navy. Gerry went on to earn his Associates degree from Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston. Gerald worked successfully in numerous high tech positions, ultimately leading to his establishment of Anderson Appliance, which he ran as the owner and proprietor. His professional successes were surpassed only by his passion for Volkswagens, which led to his founding and serving as a president of The Bug Club of southern New Hampshire. Gerry is survived by his wife of 54 years, Linda A. (Wickman) Anderson; his brothers-in-law, William Wickman, and his wife Louise, of Norwood, and Charles Wickman, and his wife Rosemary, of Southborough; as well as many nieces and nephews.
