None Georgia Petropoulos

Georgia (Lymberopoulos) Petropoulos, a resident of Norwood passed away on June 1, 2015 at the age of 91.  Born in Halkia, Greece, she was the daughter of Elias and Georgia Lymberopoulos.  Mrs. Petropoulos was the beloved wife of the late Stefanos and the loving mother of Chris Petropoulos and his wife Evangelia of Billerica and the late Gregory Petropoulos.  Devoted grandmother of Stephan and Christina.  She is also survived by her sisters Filanthi and Despina of Greece as well as many nieces and nephews.  She will be sorely missed by her family and many friends, both here, Canada and Greece.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral Mass on Thursday, June 4, 2015 at 11AM at the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 514 Parker St., Boston.  Interment will follow in Highland Cemetery in Norwood.  Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, June 3, 2015 from 6 to 8 PM at the May Funeral Home, 85 Nichols St., Norwood. In lieu of flowers donations in Georgia’s memory may be made to the charity of your choice.
