DEDHAM: Eleanor Roberta (Lehmann) Notarangelo, age 83, a lifelong resident of Dedham, died on Monday evening, October 11, 2010, at Brigham & Women’s Hospital.
Born at home on August 17, 1928, she was a daughter of the late Paul Eric and Elfrieda (Etzdorf) Lehmann. She was educated with the Dedham High School class of 1946.
Eleanor was employed for many years as a machinist, first with Allis Chalmers, then Westinghouse and later with the Foxboro Company. She loved to travel and particularly enjoyed Disney, Las Vegas and California.
She is survived by her son, David P. Notarangelo and his wife Mem of Dedham; two grandsons, Nathan Eric and Nicholas Mario Notarangelo; two sisters, Rosemarie Pupi of Hyde Park and Joyce Mitchell and her husband Robert of Homosassa, FL; and many nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be at the Folsom Funeral Home, 87 Milton Street, Dedham, on Monday, Oct. 18 th from 4:00 – 6:45p.m. with a funeral service to follow at 7:00p.m. Burial will be private.
