None Barry Levine

Barry Levine passed peacefully on June 14, 2022 in the presence of his family.  He was born in Brooklyn to Edith and Murray Levine. He graduated from James Madison Highschool and went on to earn a B.S. degree in biology from M.I.T. in 1971. He earned a degree from the New England School of Acupuncture and later earned a masters in Herbal Medicine from the New England School of Acupuncture. He married in 1973 to Judith Katz Levine and settled in the Boston area. Barry practiced acupuncture for 30 years and would go to any length to help his patients. He was also an accomplished and professional musician playing sax throughout New England. He took special delight in playing at nursing homes during the last few years in a trio called String Swing. Barry leaves his wife Judith Katz Levine, his daughter Jan Alexandra Katz, his mother Edith Levine, and two brothers Jeffrey and Leonard Levine and their spouses Marcie and Mateo, and many nieces and a nephew. He had a unique inventor’s mind and his unique and caring ways will always be missed. Instead of flowers, donations can be made to Doctors Without Borders or Care Dimensions Hospice.
