Minnie A. Doeg

Minnie Alberta Doeg, a resident of Emerald Bay Manor in Cumberland Rhode Island for a few years, died peacefully there on Thurday, November 12, 2009. Mrs. Doeg was born in Billtown, Nova Scotia, Canada in 1923 to the late Fred and Marie (Morton) Margeson. She was a graduate of Somerville High School, Class of 1941. Mrs. Doeg lived in Hyde Park for many years and worked as a receptionist for Dr. Schwartz at his office in Hyde Park.  Her many hobbies included reading, Bingo and playing cards. She was married to the late Vernon P. Doeg who predeceased her in 1975. She is survived by her son Raymond P. Doeg and his wife Patricia of Cumberland, RI and her daughter Carolyn Cox and her husband Gary of Louisville, KY. She is also survived by 2 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Violet Phares. A graveside service will be held Wednesday, November 18, 2009 at 11 am at Knollwood Memorial Park in Canton, Massachusetts.
