Michael G.E. Winbourne

Michael G.E. Winbourne, a lawyer in Dedham for the Firm Winbourne, Hampe and Sheehan, and who later ran his own law office, died Friday, March 22, 2019 at the Middlesex Hospital in Middletown, Connecticut surrounded by his family.  He was 64.  Michael was born May 13, 1954 in Needham, Massachusetts, one of the five children of Attorney George E. and Barbara M. (Oberlander) Winbourne.  He was a longtime resident of Dedham who recently called Deep River Connecticut home.  Michael was a volunteer  and strong supporter of Dedham Youth Basketball,  In addition he was a former Town Meeting Member and a former member of the ADA committee in Dedham.  He is survived by his brother, Peter L. Winbourne of North Attleboro; and his three sisters, Cherylann W. Sheehan, Esq, and her husband David, of Dedham, Jodi W. Kaftan, and her husband Charles, of DePere, Wisconsin, and Dawn M.W. Norton of Ringe, New Hampshire.  Service and interment will be private.
