Michael A. Leitao

Michael Amancio Leitao, a resident of Dedham, died Wednesday, April 26, 2017 after a long illness.  He was 44.  Michael was born September 30, 1972 in Boston, Massachusetts, the son of Amancio Viera and Sandra Lucille (Marshalsea) Leitao.  He worked for a pest management company and also did construction and masonry work.  Michael was a member of the Dedham Moose Lodge where he enjoyed playing pool, and he played softball in the Christian League at the Living Waters Church in Norwood.  He is survived by his wife Lisa Mary (Arsenault)  Leitao; his children, Kyle Richard Leitao, Mya Elizabeth Leitao, and Giana Sarah Leitao, all of Dedham; his parents, Amancio V. and Sandra L. Leitao of Taunton; his three brothers, James Leitao of Dedham, Christopher Leitao of Plainville, and Norman Leitao of Taunton; and his two sisters, Lisa Hilton of Milford, and Sandra Leitao of Taunton.  Visiting hours will be held Sunday, April 30 from 4 to 8 pm at the Folsom Funeral Home, 87 Milton Street, Dedham.  Relatives and friends will gather at the funeral home Monday morning at 9:30 am and proceed to the Living Waters Church, 668 Walpole Street, Norwood for his funeral service at 11 o clock.  Interment will be private.  In lieu of flowers donations to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701 would be appreciated.
