Mary E. Pitts

Mary E. (Putnam) Pitts , age 88, formerly of Dedham, MA, passed away on Friday, April 27, 2018 at Parkland Medical in Derry, NH.  Born in Somerville, MA, she was the daughter of the late Wilfred and Dorothy (Ide) Putnam and the wife of the late George E. Pitts, Sr.  Mary was predeceased by her brother Wilfred Putnam, Jr. of Arizona.

Mary is survived by her six children, daughter Mary Lawrence and her husband Walter of Plaistow, NH, sons, George Pitts, Jr. and his wife Maria of Chelmsford, MA, Steven Pitts and his wife Ann of S. Easton, MA and Ronald Pitts and his wife Anna of Norton, MA, daughters, Lorraine Makhoul and her husband George of Fremont, NH, and Susan Cowan and her husband Robert of Plaistow, NH, as well as 12 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.  She is also survived by her brother George Putnam and his wife Regina of Dedham, MA as well as 3 nieces and 1 nephew.

Arrangements – Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Tuesday, May 1 ^st from 4-8 PM at the Folsom Funeral Home, 87 Milton Street, Dedham, MA.  A funeral service will be celebrated at the Folsom Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 2 ^nd at 10:00 AM.  Burial will follow at the Blue Hill Cemetery in Braintree, MA.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 309 Waverley Oaks Road, Waltham, Ma 02542.
