Marjorie G. Lloyd

Marjorie G. Lloyd, a resident of Sunrise Assisted Living community in Norwood and Littlejohn Island, Yarmouth, Maine, died Monday, February 28, 2011, after a long illness. She was 93. Mrs. Lloyd was born in Quincy, Massachusetts and was the daughter of the late Harold and Queda (Kay) Hill. She graduated from North Quincy High School,loved playing cards and belonged to several bridge clubs throughout her life. She was a homemaker and enjoyed being with her family. Marjorie loved to travel. These trips included Australia and China. She and her late husband Thomas W. Lloyd enjoyed their summers on Littlejohn Island in Yarmouth, Maine and when they retired they lived there full time for many years. She is survived by her children; Thomas D. Lloyd and his wife Mary Ellen of Norwood, Paul Lloyd and his wife Mary of Texas, Richard Lloyd of Norwood and Douglas Lloyd of Quincy. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Sister of the late Barbara Baker. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service, Sunday, March 13, 2011 at 2:30 pm at May Funeral Home, 85 Nichols Street, Norwood. Burial will be private.
