Marjorie A. Denekamp

Marjorie Ann Denekamp, a resident of Westwood, formerly of Sharon for over 47 years, died Thursday October 29, 2009 at the Charlwell House in Norwood. She was 86. Mrs. Denekamp was born in Boston and was the daughter of the late George and Margaret (Sternberg) Madison. She graduated from Roslindale High School and was a homemaker. She is survived by her husband of 67 years John H. Denekamp of Westwood; her children, Jon B., and his wife Hope Denekamp of Wrentham, Robert J., and his wife Sandra Denekamp of Norwood; and her grandchildren, Laura Boothroyd, Jon Denekamp and Lynn Denekamp. She is also survived by her great grandchildren Derek and Jeremy Denekamp, and Larston and Nora Boothroyd. She was the sister of the late Robert Madison. Relatives and friends are invited to attend funeral services Monday, November 2nd at 10 am at Folsom Funeral Home, 649 High Street, Westwood. Burial in Gethsemane Cemetery, West Roxbury. Visiting hours will be held Sunday 4-7 pm. In lieu of flowers donations in Marjorie’s memory may be made to the Alzheimer’s Memory Walk, 225 N. Michigan Avenue, Floor 17, Chicago, IL 60601
