Marie A. (Heyn) Walter, a lifelong resident of Dedham died Friday, February 10, 2012 at the Norwood Hospital.  She was 98.  Marie was born March 29, 1913 in Dedham, Massachusetts, the older daughter of William Otto and Anna B. (Alber) Heyn.  She graduated from Dedham High School and worked as a clerk at Rustcraft Greeting Card co of Dedham.  Marie enjoyed knitting and was a very active member of St. Luke Lutheran Church in Dedham.  Marie was the wife of the late Russell W.R. Walter; the mother of the late Kenneth Alan Walter; and the sister of the late Charlotte Steimle Rauschenbach.  She is survived by her niece, Lynne Harrison, and her cousins  Beverly Wentzel, Shirley Mingels, Marilyn May, Carolyn Cochrane, and Kenneth DeYoung.  Visiting hours will be held Tuesday, February 14th from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the Folsom Funeral Home, 87 Milton Street, Dedham.  Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral Wednesday at 10 AM at St. Luke Lutheran Church, 950 East Street, Dedham.  Burial will follow in Brookdale Cemetery, Dedham.  In lieu of flowers donations to St. Luke Church, 950 East Street, Dedham, MA 02026 would be appreciated.
