Margaret P. Cosgro

Margaret Pearl (Matheson) Cosgro, of Norwood, passed away on November 5, 2021 at the age of 99.  Born on Nov. 13, 1921 in Prince Edward Island, Canada, she was the daughter of the late Daniel W. and Addie E (Biggar) Matheson, also of PEI Canada. Peg was the loving wife of the late Ernest H. Cosgro, and was the beloved mother of Richard H. Cosgro and his wife Winnie of NH, Dana A. Cosgro and his wife Janis of VA, and Glenn A. Cosgro and his wife Patty of Norwood.  She was the dear sister of the late D. Lloyd Mathieson, Harold A. Mathieson, and Anna C. MacFayden.  Also survived by her beloved 5 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

Peg was a kind selfless charitable lady, and was a giver to all. She enjoyed volunteering many hours at her church fairs and baking was her talent making scrumptious pies, her famous biscuits, and banana bread. She loved family and enjoyed being an avid cheerleader to her grandsons and would never miss a game! Nana will  also be remembered for her Scottish Determination with her NEVER give up attitude!

Visitation for Peg will be held on Wednesday from 4-8PM at the Folsom Funeral Home, 649 High St., Westwood. Interment will be private.
