Louis T. Sr. Tammaro

Louis Terry Tammaro Sr., a resident of Roslindale, died Monday, November 22, 2021 at the Brigham & Women’s Hospital in Boston.  He was 74.  Louis was born October 3, 1947 in Chelsea, Massachusetts one of the four children of Michael Anthony and Genevieve Antonia (DeLuca) Tammaro.  He graduated from Chelsea High School and earned his Master’s degree from Cambridge College. Louis enlisted in the US Army in 1966 and was honorably discharged in 1969.  He worked as a Data Center manager for Bose Corporation and Harvard Pilgrim Healthcare until his retirement in 2012.  Louis was the husband of the late Barbara Ann (LeBrun) Tammaro who predeceased him in 2006 and is survived by his son Louis T. Tammaro Jr., and his wife Melissa, of Nashua, New Hampshire; his daughter, Angela E. Tammaro of Roslindale; his two brothers, Anthony and Michael Tammaro, both of Florida; his sister, Rosa Follis of Saugus; and his three grandchildren, Erica, Giovanni, and Dante. Visiting hours will be held Friday, November 26th from 3 to 7 pm at the Folsom Funeral Home 63 Belgrade Avenue, Roslindale.  The City of Boston does require masks in the building.  Relatives and friends are invite to gather at the funeral home Saturday, starting a 9 am and proceed with us to St. John Chrysostom Church in West Roxbury for his funeral mass at 10 o clock..  Interment with military honors will follow at the St. James Section of St. Joseph Cemetery in West Roxbury.  Donations to the National Kidney Foundation, 209 West Central Street, Suite 220.
