Karl E. Gundal

Karl Edward Gundal, a resident of Westwood, died Friday, December 8th, 2023 at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Needham. He was 60. Karl was born February 11, 1963, the son of Irene (Bittman) and Joseph Ernest Gundal. Karl is survived by his wife Allyson Mary (Hanlon); his children, Ava Barbara Gundal, and Joseph Karl Gundal, both of Westwood; his brothers, Joseph Gundal of Florida, and Erick Gundal of Tennessee; and his sister, Anna Mason of New Hampshire. Relatives and friends may gather with the family for visitation on Tuesday, December 12, 2023 from 10 to 11 am at the Emmanuel Lutheran Church, 24 Berwick Street, Norwood followed by his funeral in the church at 11 o clock. Interment will follow in Holy Hood Cemetery, Brookline.
