Jon-Michael DePalma., a resident of Worcester, died Friday, January 10, 2025 as a result of an automobile accident in Worcester. He was 71. Jon-Michael was born January 20, 1953 in Brockton, Massachusetts, the only son of Michael John and Jeanne A (Arbaugh) DePalma. He grew up in Randolph and earned his associate degree from Blue Hills Community College, and worked as an entrepreneur and salesman of water purification systems until his retirement in 2020. Jon-Michael was a long-time resident of Ocean Beach, San Diego where he enjoyed daily walks down to the ocean. Jon-Michael was a Natural Friend and Positive Influence to all he met and encouraged all with his never ending smile to live a GR8 LIFE. He’d want you to “Practice daily to be the very best you. When you’re living life right there’s always room for a “Woo Hoo!” Jon-Michael was a member of the Marine Corps League in Worcester. He is survived by his son, Jon M. DePalma, and his wife Lisa, of Mansfield; his daughter, Nicole Leary, and her husband Colton, of Shrewsbury; his two sisters, Christine Waite of Plymouth, and Michele Kelley of Westminster, Colorado; and was proud Poppi to Evelyn DePalma and Claire Leary. He will be loved and missed forever and ever until the end of time. Services and interment were private, his family is planning a Celebration of a GR8 LIFE and will share details when available.
