John M. Bucelewicz

John Mark Bucelewicz, a resident of West Roxbury, died Friday, March 6, 2020 at the Brigham & Women’s Hospital.  He was 71.  John was born December 11, 1948 in Boston, Massachusetts, a son of William Albert and Helen Elizabeth (Woronowicz) Bucelewicz. He graduated from Brighton High School and worked as a nursing assistant at the Lemuel Shattuck Hospital and later for Staff Builders until his retirement about twenty years ago.  John enjoyed computer games and was especially fond of his cats.  He is survived by his wife, Mary Frances (Gould) Bucelewicz; his daughter, Helen E. Bucelewicz, and her fiancé Rebecca Rowe; his son, Mark J. Bucelewicz, and his wife Amy E. (Shoemaker); his two grandchildren, Evan M. and Henry T. Bucelewicz; his sisters, Martha Chaput, and her husband William, and Helen Buck, and her husband William.  He was the brother of the late William M. Bucelewicz, and his wife Barbara.  Visiting hours will be held Friday, March 13th from 4 to 8 pm at the Folsom Funeral Home, 87 Milton St., Dedham MA.  Interment will be private.   Donations in John’s memory to the Animal Rescue League, 55 Anna’s Place, Dedham, MA 02026 would be appreciated.
