John E. Beigbeder

John Edwin Beigbeder, a resident of Westwood, died peacefully at his home in Westwood on April 3, 2023. John was born in Boston, Massachusetts on September 22, 1955, the son of the late Louis H. and Jean E. (Riddell) Beigbeder. John attended Westwood schools and graduated from Westwood High School with the Class of 1973. John is survived by his sisters, Mianne Edwards of New Jersey, and Lynnette Lancaster of Massachusetts; and his brother, Stephen Beigbeder of Florida. He was the much loved “UJ” (Uncle John) to many nieces and nephews. John was predeceased by his loving partner, Barbara Leitstein, and his brother, Peter Beigbeder. John worked for many years in the food service industry, managing staff at hospitals and universities. Throughout the years he enjoyed traveling, and was a golf enthusiast. John was happiest in his kitchen and was a gifted chef. He was loved by many who enjoyed his wry sense of humor and generosity. A celebration of life will be planned for summer 2023.
