John David “Jack” Mulhane, a longtime resident of Westwood, died Friday, November 30, 2018 at the Norwood Hospital. He was 86. Jack was born Aug 4, 1932 in Boston, Massachusetts, the only son of William and Alice (Johnson) Mulhane. After High School he attended classes at Suffolk University before going to work as an Expediter for LFE Electronics before moving to the US Post Office where he worked as a letter carrier for over 30 years until his retirement in 1999. Jack is survived by his wife, Donna Jean (Cole) Mulhane; his three sons, David Eder-Mulhane, and his wife Ann, of Jamaica Plain, Mark J. Mulhane, of Westwood, and Mark Nalbandian, of Westwood; his three daughters, Bonnie A. Mulhane of Florida, April Troiani-Chapin, and her husband David, of Whitman, and Laurie Jones, and her husband Cambell, of Foxboro; and his six grandchildren, Paul Eder-Mulhane, Vincent Troiani, Mario Troiani, Lilli Jones, Cooper Jones, and Alana Nalbandian. Visiting hours Monday 4-8 pm at the Folsom Funeral Home, 649 High Street, Westwood. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral Tuesday at 10 am at the First Baptist Church of Westwood followed by interment in New Westwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to the Memoria Fund of the First Baptist Church, 808 High Street, Westwood, MA 02090 would be appreciated.
