John D. Mckee

John Donald McKee of Southbridge, MA, formerly of Dedham, died on Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at his home following a lengthy illness, at the age of 72. Don was born on June 15, 1946 in Dedham, where he lived for 71 years. He was the son of Frederick A. and Bessie (Jordan) McKee. Don graduated with a degree in accounting from New Hampshire College and for the last 22 years of his employment was Comptroller for PEI, Inc. of Milford, MA. He met his wife of almost fifty years, Linda (Galante) McKee while at Dedham High School and they married in 1969. He is also survived by his beloved daughter Christina McKee (and her fiance, Aaron Sarkisian) of Southbridge; and his brother Stanley McKee (and his wife, Janice) of Phillips, Maine. He was predeceased by his dear sister Nancy Haffermehl, and his brother Frederick (“Patty”) McKee. Don also leaves behind his dear sisters-in-law Leanne Jasset and Lorna Dempsey (and her husband, Jaye) and Lisa Galante of Dedham; Pauline McKee of Readville; and his brother-in-law Roger Haffermehl of Canton, as well as many adored nieces and nephews and cousins. A memorial service is being planned for the Spring.
