John A. Libby

John Arthur Libby, a resident of West Roxbury, died Monday, December 5, 2011 at the Harborlights Rehabilitation and Nursing Home in South Boston.  He as 73.  John was born February 118, 1938 in Boston, Massachusets, the son of George and Barbara E. (Gorham) Libby.  He worked as an electrician for Griffin Electric and MacKinlay Electric Companies.  John was the father of Mark Libby of Canton, John Libby of Quincy, and the late Cheryl Libby.  He is also survived by his sister, Susan Kirby of West Roxbury; his brother, Donald MacKinlay of Westwood; and four grandchildren.  He was the brother of the late Stephan MacKinlay.  Relatives and friends are invited to attend his graveside service Thursday, December 22, 2011 at 10 AM at Mount Auburn Cemetery, 580 Mount Auburn Street, Cambridge.
