Jean F. (Bishop) Sawizky

Jean Frances (Bishop) Sawizky, a resident of Westwood, passed away at the Charlwell House Nursing Home on November 25th, she was 88.  Jean was born in Dedham on April 22nd to George and Cora ( Dean) Bishop.  She spent her childhood in Dedham, graduating from Dedham High School.  After highschool, she found employment as a clerical worker at New England Tel and Tel.  She met and married Harry Sawizky, the couple settled in Dedham.  In her spare time, Jean enjoyed geneology, spending long hours exploring her heritage.  Jean is predeceased by her husband Harry S. Sawizky, she is survived by her stepdaughter Jeanie Sillars and her husband Cliff of Florida, as well as her granddaughter Kristi Serowik, her sister Nancy Baxter of Marblehead, and many nieces and nephews.  Jean’s funeral will be held Wednesday, December 1st at 11 AM, at the Folsom Funeral Home, 649 High Street, Westwood.  With interment to follow at The Garden’s of Gethsemane Cemetery in West Roxbury.  Visitation will be held prior to the funeral from 10-11AM.  In lieu of flowers, donations to The Hillside School, 404 Robin Hill Road, Marlborough, MA 01752-1099 would be appreciated.
