Gwendolyn E. Crellen

Gwendoyln E. Crellen (Brooks) , a resident of Dedham died on January 18 at the age of 96.  She was born in Charleston, VT to the late Clayton Roy Brooks and Sadie E. (Temple).  Mrs. Crellen was a member of the Allin Congregational Church and the Dedham Women’s Club.  She liked to paint, garden and sew.  Her family was her greatest joy.  She was the beloved wife of the late Herbert E. and dear mother of Virginia  E. Swanson and her husband Allen of Dedham and the late Ronald E. Crellen.  She is also survived by 4 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Burial is private.  Relatives and friends are invited to attend her memorial service on Saturday, February 5 at 11AM at Allin Congregational Church, 683 High St., Dedham, MA 02026.  In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be sent to the Allin Congregational Church Memorial Fund at the address listed above.
