Frank Wesley Snow, a resident of Dedham for 50 years, died Sunday, November 9th, 2008 at the Caritas Norwood Hospital. He was 89. Frank was born March 27, 1919 in Milton, Massachusetts, a son of the late Charles H., and Annie Dorothy (Harriman) Snow. He attended Milton High School and served in the US Navy during World War Two. Frank worked as an auto body technician for Ray’s Auto sales in Dedham for 30 years until his retirement in 1984. He was a member of the Dedham Retired Men’s Club and the Riverdale Bowling League. He was the husband of the late Eleanor Agnes (Tomilson) Snow; the father of the late Janice C. Pepper; and the brother of the late Walter V. Snow, the late Roy Snow, the late Herbert Snow, and the late Edna Quartz. Frank is survived by his daughter, Elaine McCarthy, and her husband Brian, of Taunton; his three sons, Kenneth Snow, and his wife Patricia, of Nashua, NH, Frank W. Snow Jr., and his wife Joanne, of Amherst, NH, and Lawrence Snow of Mashpee; as well as his 8 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Visiting hours will be held Wednesday, Nov 12th from 4-8 PM at the Folsom Funeral Home, 87 Milton Street, Dedham. Frank’s funeral will be Thursday at 11 AM at the funeral home followed by burial in Milton Cemetery, Milton. In lieu of flowers donations in memory of his daughter Janice to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen Street, Framingham, Massachusetts, 01701 would be appreciated.
