Frances C. Landers

Frances Caroline (Rincker) Landers, a lifelong resident of Dedham, died peacefully Thursday, June 2, 2016 at the Bay Path Nursing Home in Duxbury.  She was 92.  Frances was full of life; walking, riding her bicycle, and always laughing.  She was born and raised in Dedham and loved her home town.  Frances worked at the Boston Envelope Company and the Holiday Inn for many years, and made many friends.  The daughter of Tobias E and Elizabeth L. (Buttlar) Rincker, she came from a big family of seven sisters and one brother.  She was the wife of the late Charles N. Landers, who predeceased her in 1995.  Frances is survived by her four sons, Charlie, Leo, Franny, and Bill, and leaves behind her beloved granddaughters Diana Poirer, Eileen Costa and Heather Resier all of Norton, MA, Dani Russo of Texas, and Sheila Landers of Norwood, her great grandchildren, and a great great granddaughter Layla.  Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral Wednesday, June 8, 2016 at 1 PM at St. Luke Lutheran Church, 950 East Street, Dedham followed by interment at Brookdale Cemetery in Dedham.  In lieu of flowers donations to St Luke Lutheran Church, 950 East Street, Dedham, MA 02026 would be appreciated.
