Elizabeth Marie (Wildes) Dickson died peacefully Christmas Day 2018 at her home in Wrentham, surrounded by her family. She was 82. Betty was born May 12, 1936 in Boston, Massachusetts, and was a long time resident of Dedham. She was the beloved daughter of Prescott Hartley and Martha Evelyn (Rincker) Wildes. Betty worked as an Administrative Assistant at the Faulkner Hospital for many years and was an active member of the Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Norwood and enjoyed singing in the choir. She loved to help others and will always be remembered for her faith, love and kindness.
Betty was the loving mother of Mark Leonard Dickson of Warner, New Hampshire, and Scott Bennett Dickson of Cumberland, Rhode Island; Paula Marie Rando, and her husband Christopher, and Joelle Elizabeth Willson, and her husband Patrick, all of Wrentham; her brother, the late Herbert T. Wildes; as well as 9 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Visiting hours will be held Friday, Dec 28th from 4 to 8 pm at the Folsom Funeral Home, 87 Milton Street, Dedham. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral Saturday at 11 am at the Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Norwood followed by burial in Brookdale Cemetery in Dedham.
