Elizabeth “Betty” A. Feeney

Elizabeth A. Feeney, fondly known as Betty, died on Wednesday, February 24. She was 85. Betty was born in Boston and was the daughter of the late Frederick and Lillian (Roberts). She was a resident of Chestnut Hill. She grew up in Roslindale and was a graduate of Roslindale High School. Spending time with her family was very important to her. She liked to travel and socialize with friends. Fashion was always something she enjoyed. She worked for John Hancock Insurance Co. as a secretary before retirement. She was the loving aunt of Lisa McCann, Jackie, Bob, Tom, Peter, and Paul Shruhan. Sister-in-law to John Shruhan and sister of the late Mary Shruhan (Feeney). Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral on Saturday at 8 AM from the Folsom Funeral Home, 87 Milton St., Dedham followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 AM at St. Anne’s Church, 82 W. Milton St., Hyde Park. Interment will be in Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton. Visiting hours are on Friday from 4:00 to 7:00 PM.
