Edward H. Appleton

Edward Henry Appleton, a resident of Roslindale, died Monday, April 16, 2018 at his home.  He was 82.  Edward was born April 6, 1936 in Boston, Massachusetts, a son of John Patrick and Mildred Virginia (Elson) Appleton.  Ed was an usher at Holy Name Church in West Roxbury; a member of the VFW post in Hyde Park; and a professional league candlepin bowler. He was the brother of the late John P. Appleton, Jr. and is survived by his sister, Linda E. Casey, and her husband Thomas, of Westwood, and his niece, Heather A. Casey of Dedham.  Private burial was held in Woodlawn Cemetery in Everett.
