Ella “Marie”(March) Davis, a resident of Kingston, formerly of Norwood, died on December 28 after a long illness with her family by her side.  She was 92. Mrs. Davis was born in Boston to the late John H. March and Ella B. (Pearl).  She worked as a medical secretary at the Norwood Hospital several years ago.  She was a former member of the First Baptist Church of Norwood and sang in the choir.  She belonged to the Order of the Eastern Star, Samoset Chapter and was mother advisor to the Rainbow girls during her membership at the church.  One of her many talents was oil painting which her family prouldy display in their homes.  She loved music, enjoyed cake decorating, stenciling and anything that required skill and posed a challenge. Her family fondly refers to her as the Martha Stewart of her time. Her greatest joy was her family. She was the beloved wife of the late Roland E. Davis and together they raised three children.  She is survived by her son, Charles E. “Chuck” and his wife Kathleen of Norwood, her daughters Ruth E. Carpeno and her husband Donald and Barbara M. Haglund and her husband Joseph, all of Plymouth.  She is also survived by her sister Elaine French of Derry, NH and 7   grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.  Visiting hours will be held on Saturday, January 9 from 9 to 10:30 am followed by a memorial service at the May Funeral Home, 85 Nichols St., Norwood.  Burial will be in Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton.  In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Shriners Burn Institute, 51 Blossom St., Boston, MA 02114.
